Financial Aid Application Process & Timeline

Deadline for Financial Aid: March 1, 2012

Between November 1 and March 1

Step 1: Contact the Admissions office to request a financial aid packet

Step 2: Complete a Parents’ Financial Statement (PFS) and submit it online to School and Student Service for Financial Aid (SSS). We recommend that parents complete the PFS forms as soon as possible because the forms usually take SSS 1 week to process online. To submit the PFS online, go to: http://sss.nais.org.

Step 3: Sumbit online or mail the required backup documentation to the School and Student Service for Financial Aid (SSS): School and Student Services, P.O. Box 449, Randolph, MA, 02368-0449.

Required documents:

  • Copy of 2010 and 2011Tax Returns (1040) and all schedules
  • Copy of 2010 and 2011 W-2’s
  • Signed, but not dated, 4506-T Form (http://www.irs.gov/pub/irs-pdf/f4506t.pdf). This form allows St. Gabriel’s School to access your filed 1040 return (if necessary).

Step 4: If applicable, submit a Business/Farm statement to the Admissions Office. Please complete one for each business you own. You may obtain a Business/Farm statement by contacting the Admissions Office.

March 21     Notification of financial aid awards mailed to families.

PLEASE NOTE: No financial aid is awarded without the receipt of official documentation from SSS. It is the responsibility of the parents and other adults involved in the process to submit the completed forms to SSS and to St. Gabriel’s Catholic School in order that they may be processed in a timely manner for the Financial Aid Committee.
