Middle School

St. Gabriel’s Catholic Middle School is a Christ-centered environment where students are inspired to excel academically, emotionally and physically in a loving and nurturing community.
At St. Gabriel’s Middle School, education is a four-year journey through which dedicated faculty collaborate to create and bring to life cross-curricular projects. With the integration of STEAM (Science-Technology-Engineering-Arts-Math) across subject-areas, students experience the interrelatedness of their learning, as they develop into global citizens, independent thinkers, and responsible members of the community.

St. Gabriel’s Middle School students are problem-solvers, critical thinkers, and blossoming communicators. Language arts, mathematics, social studies, science, theology, and world languages are all considered core subjects, designed to allow students a full cognitive experience throughout their journey. The wide range of elective choices at St. Gabriel’s  provides opportunities for students to synthesize their learning and apply their skills and knowledge in a variety of relevant and enjoyable contexts.

Spearheaded through the Advisory system, St. Gabriel’s Middle School students develop and practice the social emotional skills necessary to be successful leaders and productive partners in the community. By engaging in deep theological study and regular participation in Catholic practices, our students explore their faith in God as they search for relevance and connection to their daily life. Annual retreats and other school traditions are opportunities for our students to focus on their spiritual and emotional well-being, developing friendships in a community of classmates.

St. Gabriel’s Middle School students understand that mistakes are part of the process of discovery, where they are supported and guided to persevere through the rigor of challenge and celebrate in the joy of success.

All St. Gabriel’s students are encouraged to play a wide variety of sports in the athletics program, where teams participate at varying skill levels, from beginner to competitive. Through sports, students not only develop physical fitness, but learn critical social skills such as teamwork, communication, and empathy, while developing meaningful and lifelong friendships.

At St. Gabriel’s, we believe education is a partnership with families, providing the nurturing, supportive, and loving environment for our students to carry their success into high school and beyond.

As they move on to the next stage of their academic life, our students know they always have a home at St. Gabriel’s. Once a Saber, always a Saber!
