After-School Care and Programs

Sabers will be active and engaged, supervised, and safe from dismissal to 6:00 p.m. in our after-school programs.

Saber Kids and Saber Study

Saber Kids offers programming and care from 3:45 pm to 6:00 pm to all lower school students.  Each student will receive a healthy snack directly after dismissal, followed by free play to celebrate the end of a productive day.  Our Saber Kids programming will include opportunities to complete homework, read, or work on an art project.  We offer two pricing structures to better meet the needs of your family’s unique situation.
Unlimited Saber Kids Plan:
  • $275.00/month + $90.00 one-time materials fee
  • Daily Drop-in Rate: $25.00/occurrence

Saber Study
offers middle school students a safe and quiet space to work on homework, hang out with friends, or pass the time until practice begins.  Saber Study will be offered as a complementary program to all middle school students.  Safety and supervision are our top priority, please feel free to take advantage of this unique opportunity.

Through our Saber Kids and Saber Study programs, SGCS offers care and supervision on the following early release days:
  • September 17
  • November 11
  • April 29
  • May 26
Leave your children, secure and happy, with us while you finish those last few errands or attend your meeting at work.  Care and supervision begin directly after dismissal until 6:00 pm.  For a low cost of $35.00 per student per day, students will receive lunch and a snack from the cafeteria, special programming from Austin-area vendors, and free play.  No RSVP is required, but by pre-registering, you can save $15.00!  For more information or to pre-register, email Riley Litherland.

Students will be allowed to explore their passions and express their God-given gifts in our After-School Enrichment classes.  The best after-school programs in Austin offer classes to our St. Gabriel’s students throughout the school year.  The year is divided into four six-week sessions to allow discovery in a variety of fields; from coding and engineering to cooking to arts and athletics.  Pricing and registration are available here [Insert Link].


Athletics

Middle School students have the opportunity to participate in competitive, school-based athletics.  We offer competition in 12 individual and team sports during our fall, winter, and spring seasons.  More information can be found here [Insert Link].
