Library Programs

The mission of the St. Gabriel's library is to encourage students to become self-directed, lifelong learners and active, independent and effective users of information and literature. Our librarian maintains a diverse collection of both print and non-print materials to support the curriculum, interests and needs of the St. Gabriel’s community.
Our library collection consists of more than 14,000 books and multimedia items such as e-books, audio-books, CDs and DVDs, as well as subscriptions to learning resources, online journals, databases and periodicals. Each week students from Kindergarten through third grade visit the library for story time, information literacy skill development, and to check out books. Flexible scheduling for research support is available throughout the school day for students in the fourth through eighth grades.
