MARTIN WIGGINS, 7th and 8th Grade Social Studies, Student Council, and Yearbook
Martin Wiggins is the 7th and 8th Grade Social Studies teacher at St. Gabriel’s Catholic School. He also administers the student council and oversees the yearbook production.  Marty joined the St. Gabriel’s family in 1999 (the School’s opening year), bringing with him 41 years of teaching experience. Marty loves to teach because he loves making a difference in the lives of students.
Marty grew up in a military family, moving from coast to coast, but now calls Austin home. He earned his bachelor’s degree in Education from The University of Texas at Austin. Although he doesn’t have much spare time, in the time he does have Marty loves to spend time with his family and two dogs (Buddy and Cutie Pie), enjoy his wife’s home-cooking, and plan his next trip to the National Parks and waterways around the US.
