Lydia Lowry, 1st–3rd Grade Religion

LYDIA LOWRY, Kindergarten–3rd Grade Religion
Lydia Lowry is the Kindergarten–3rd Grade Religion teacher at St. Gabriel’s Catholic School. She joined the St. Gabriel’s family in 2005, bringing with her over 30 years of teaching experience. Lydia loves to teach because she loves to learn, and she learns from her students.  Lydia especially loves teaching elementary age students because the students are full of surprises and keep her on her toes!
A native of Austin, Lydia earned her bachelor’s degree in Education from The University of Texas at Austin. In her spare time, Lydia loves to relax with her two German short-haired pointers (Herman and Oscar), make a healthy meal with fresh avocados, exercise, spend time with her family and grandson, or plan her trip of a lifetime: to walk the Camino (all 500 miles) in Spain.
