Amy Karakourtis
Kindergarten Teacher
A native Texan, Karakourtis joined the Lower School in 2017 and holds a Bachelor of Science in Child Development from Baylor University. She taught at The Duke School for Children in Durham, NC before being a stay-at-home mom to three amazing human beings. She loves creating a classroom atmosphere where children feel deeply known. One of Amy’s goals is to help her children understand that making mistakes means you are trying and continuing to try when things are hard is something to celebrate!
