St. Michael’s Prep Third Graders bring Scripture to Life through Easter Celebrations
To celebrate their Catholic faith, St. Michael’s Prep third-grade students recently honored Jesus’ resurrection by participating in meaningful Easter traditions.
AUSTIN, Texas (May 1, 2026) — To celebrate their Catholic faith, St. Michael’s Prep third-grade students recently honored Jesus’ resurrection by participating in meaningful Easter traditions.
St. Michael's Prep is a premier academic school, rooted in Catholic Christian values. Each year, students honor Jesus and the Easter season through cherished school traditions, including washing their families’ feet and reenacting The Last Supper – a powerful testament to bringing their faith to life.
Clothed in costumes and parading up an aisle of students holding palm leaves, our third graders demonstrated reverence for the sacrament of the Eucharist, thanking Jesus for the sacrifice of His body and blood. On stage, a table was set for our third graders, acting out Jesus’ final moments with His apostles. These students also led our community in The Lord’s Prayer, praying to God for a blessed Easter season.
