Stephanie Stewart
Upper School Dean of Humanities
Over the last 22 years, Stephanie Stewart has been an English teacher in grades 6-12. She has been at St. Michael's Prep for 18 of those years serving as an English teacher in the Upper School. During her tenure, she has fostered and enriched the Writing Center to model university and college Writing Centers as well as currently serving as the Dean of Humanities. After graduating from the University of Dayton with a BA in English, Stephanie served in the Lalanne program which places teachers in lower socioeconomic Catholic Schools in the Midwest. She began her Master's Degree while in the program and earned her teaching license. She finished her Master's Degree in Rhetoric and Composition at Texas State. Stephanie and her family love the great outdoors, pickleball, their puppies, and Michigan sports; she also enjoys reading and baking as much as she can in her spare time.
