Russell Thompson

Russell Thompson started at St. Michael's Prep full time in January 2022 as our Campus Security Officer. He retired from the Travis County Sherriff's Office after serving 30 years. During that time, he worked various assignments including traffic enforcement, lake patrol, narcotic interdiction, and as a school resource officer for Westlake High School and Del Valle High School. He has a Master Peace Officer License and is continuing to provide safety and security to the students and faculty. He was born in Texas and loves to travel but has no plans of ever leaving. He has lots of hobbies and two golden retrievers that take all of his free time.
