Andrew Higdon

Upper School Math Instructor

Andrew Higdon joined St. Michael’s Prep after beginning his full-time teaching career in Catholic schools in 2022. His path to education started during his time as a temporarily professed seminarian with the Congregation of Holy Cross. Andrew earned his Master of Divinity from the University of Notre Dame before returning to Texas to pursue teaching full time.

Prior to leading his own classroom, Andrew gained experience as a private tutor and substitute teacher. He and his wife both hold undergraduate degrees in engineering and share a strong passion for STEM education. They are active parishioners at St. Ignatius Martyr Catholic Church.

Andrew brings a thoughtful, mission-driven approach to teaching, grounded in his background in theology, engineering, and service.
