Christy Schrader, Class of 2013
Christy Schrader is taking on Pepperdine and the world as she works toward becoming a Royal Albert British Ambassador Scholar in London.
While pursuing a business degree from Pepperdine University, Christy is exploring various opportunities around the globe. She recently finished a semester in Washington, D.C., where she interned in the Office of Congressman Michael McCaul. Then she hopped across the pond to study in London, where she is pursuing a Royal Albert British Ambassador Scholar appointment by participating in a UK homestay program and volunteering for a UK charity.
A go-getter from an early age, Christy won the Top GPA Award while a student at Saint Gabriel’s Catholic School. She says it was at St. Gabriel’s where she “grew up and where [she] began to strive for excellence.”
“From my time at SGCS, I remember most the sense of a loving community and the push to achieve our dreams. I will always remember the words to St. Gabriel's Wings and how it exemplifies the work of the community at SGCS to help each child soar.”
