  • Social Emotional Learning (SEL)

    St. Gabriel's Catholic School integrates the teaching of emotional intelligence into daily life through Social Emotional Learning (SEL), which is fundamental to a child's social and emotional development, ethical development, citizenship, motivation to achieve, success and happiness.

    All of our decisions, bot curricula and non-curricular, are made through the lens of our Catholic identity as it flows through SEL practice.
  • Differentiated Learning

    St. Gabriel's Catholic School develops each child's potential through the process of differentiated learning, where teachers use a variety of instructional strategies based on student readiness levels, interests and preferred mode of learning. Differentiation is achieved through workshop models in Language Arts and Math, as well as through Project-Based Learning and STEAM practices infused throughout all areas of curriculum.

    Teaches sportsmanship through daily physical education and inclusive athletic programs.
  • Health and Wellness 

    Provides a full-time counselor to meet the social and emotional needs of all children and families, as well as a full-time registered nurse to oversee the health and wellness policies and programs that ensure a healthy school environment.
  • Library Collection

    Houses a library collection of more than 25,000 books, multi-media items, resources and equipment for use by students, faculty and parents.
  • Student Support Services

    Provides support for students, teachers, and families for the learning paths of students who learn differently.
  • Technological Resources

    Provides best-in-class technological resources to support student learning, including a one-to-one laptop program, iPads, and tele-presence capabilities
  • Writing Emphasized Across the Curriculum

    Offering writing emphasized across the curriculum, which teaches children to use a higher level of thinking across subjects that challenges students to analyze and process what they read through writing.
  • After-School Programming

    Offers safe after-school care for students, Saber Kids for Junior Kindergarten through Fourth Grade students, and Saber Study for Middle School students.
